| Computational Linguistics | |
| Family: Roanna and Dan met in 1986, married in 1994...and are living happily ever after. They have their hands full with two cats and the restoration of a 1928 Tudor. Work: Roanna has worked with/for the E&S Program in some capacity since 1994. Currently she works 3/4 time and provides both grant/contract and administrative support for the program. Interests: Roanna is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, with a minor in Computer Science. She is interested in the field of Computational Linguistics, which is concerned with the logical modeling of natural language by computers. She is also interested in environmental issues, donating her time and money to various causes, and hopes to promote awareness of these issues (especially in the E&S Office!). |
