Undergrad Research Opportunities

Steps to becoming an Undergrad Researcher:

  1. Be proactive! UG research opportunities do not usually fall in your lap. If interested in doing research, during your second or third year of studies meet with faculty members whose research areas best fit your interests.
  2. Express your interest to your selected faculty member in being an UG researcher and ask if there are either existing or potential research opportunities in their labs.
  3. Apply for the Undergrad Research Scholars (URS) Award.
