Summary of Problem Statement

The Solar Car would have many wires and lines running through it and the team needed to keep them organized, secure, separate, and safe. Brackets would need to be designed and implemented to accomplish this goal.

Summary of Approach

First, I spoke with all the group members and found out about the different wires and lines for the car. Then, I brainstormed several concepts that would help mount or lines and wires. I then chose from the many ideas to find which mounts would best work on the solar car.

Summary of Results

The mounts were weighed against one another based on their characteristics. After a final design option was chosen, I developed the final design for the bracket.

Lessons Learned

I learned that there can be many solutions to a single problem. I also learned how the design process works and how hard it is working with others in a group on a single project.
