SRR Systems Readiness Review memo (Due Tuesday 10/31/06 by 5PM)
- post this to the wiki
- send a link to its location on the wiki via email to Dr. P and your advisor (not necessary to send to Marlin).
- turn in a signed hardcopy to the M E4000? basket in ME B2110 by 5pm on Tuesday
You should consider having 2 people work on this and list there names. It will be worth the equivalent of writing a weekly memo for 2 people in your group. However, the grade you receive will also be a team grade as well.
The main point of this memo is to have each team outline the overall system they are designing, present this to your advisor, and discuss the outcome of this presentation and comments from your advisor.
An appropriate way to outline your system is via block diagrams. As shown in the presentation from lab lecture 6, you can also show interdependencies between subsystems via block diagrams. You should also discuss what the primary requirements and known specifications for your system.
In your memo, I’d like you to discuss:
- The overall systems of your design project (refer to attached block diagram)
- Discuss the outcome of your SRR you had with your advisor
- Include comments, concerns, and or modifications that came as a direct result of this SRR meeting.
- Please attach your overall project Block diagram and if desired a more detailed block diagrams. You may also attach a short document describing your projects primary requirements and specifications.
You should follow the same type of formatting and structure as a general memo.
The presentation from lab lecture, concerning info for your Systems Readiness Review can be found here.
