Conclusion
After completing the design process for the University of Utah Solar Car battery boxes, the final redesigned boxes will sufficiently satisfy all requirements and specifcations put forth by the American Solar Challenge and all requirements that were created by the nature of replacing existing battery boxes. The new battery boxes will be easily removable, will keep the driver safe and isolated from the batteries in the event of an accident, and will keep the system ventilated and running smoothly. By making these boxes easy to interface with other systems, these boxes will be very user friendly and easy to use. These new battery boxes will make a great replacement for the boxes currently in use.
