A ball valve will be used for adjusting the flow rate in combination with a porous connector (to decrease head loss quickly). We have 1.5 ft diameter wooden bases for the structural parts of the upper and lower chambers; however, we need to paint them (and the wooden dowels holding the formed polycarbonate and fan up) with a material that will prevent warping as the fogger will leave some water on the wood. We also found some plexiglass material we can use as a reinforcing material for flexure.
