Benchmarking
The UAV team for the 2006/2007 year has taken on the task of implementing an auotpilot system for a propeller driven unamnned air plane. The wing span for this plane is about six feet in length and the plane is also about six feet from the nose to the tail. The UAV team for the 2005/2006 year recieved a autopilot chip from Procerus Technologies. This will be the chip that the 2006/2007 UAV team will use. A pricture is provided below of this chip.
