SLTEST Data

A number of studies have been conducted at the SLTEST site both prior to and during the development of the on-site infrastructure. Many of these have focused on the structure of the turbulence in the atmospheric surface layer, and/or the near-wall structure of boundary layer turbulence at high Reynolds number.

Results shown here are for hot-wire based statistics of velocity and velocity gradients, cup and vane anemometer traces of wind direction and speed at 2m from the surface, and the surface layer mean profile (up to 200m) as derived from minisodar measurements.
