College of Engineering Scholarships & Fellowships
Deadline: March 1.
If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, applications are due on the first following work day.
Required application materials:
- Completed Simon Ramo application
- Transcripts
- 3 letters of references
Submit application materials to the College of Engineering Main Office (1650 WEB). Only one application (Simon Ramo application) is needed for the following four scholarships:
Arel Berrier Scholarship. Amount: $2,500
Simon Ramo Scholarship. Amount: $5,000
Gerald Gagner Scholarship. Amount: $2,000
Kennecott Scholarship. Amount: $2500
These scholarships cannot be granted in addition to College or Departmental Scholarships.
Eligibility:
- Must be a matriculated (degree-seeking) student
- Must complete two full semesters during the academic year
- Must be a junior or senior engineering student the year of the award
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have a GPA of 3.7 or higher
Selection Criteria:
Based on cumulative GPA and credit hours, participation in extra curricular activities (i.e. college, campus, or community activities), and reference letters.
Duration: 1 year, must reapply each year.
