Hi !
Welcome to Dhiraj's wepage. (aka D-raj or raj for all who find the word "Dhiraj"
phonetically intimidating). Currently, I am a graduate student in Department of Mechahnical Engineering at
University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born and raised in India, I did the Bachelors in Mechnical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (DCE). Subsequently, I worked with Larsen & Toubro Ltd.- an engineering design and construction conglomerate. After 2 years of learning of nuts and bolts ( sounds mechanical-ish ?) of project management and planning, I landed in the USA (Fall 1999) to do the M.S in Mechanical Engineering.
Past two years as a graduate student have been a rewarding experienice in terms of learning things and interacting with some brilliant people. Living in picturesque Salt Lake City provides ample opportunites to those who enjoy the outdoors. And, as a matter of fact, Salt Lake City is hosting the 2002 Winter Olympics. So try to be here and catch some action !
