2001 Robo-Basho:  Sumatori Akebono

Notice that Akebono uses the coupler in a crank-follower four bar linkage for locomotion, sonar for sensing the adversary, and IR detectors for sensing location in the ring.   Look at that beautiful manufacturing!  Akenbono is the creation of Chris Bissenden, John Elsnab, Paul Taylor, and Joe Wagner.
