SPAM isn't really one of my interests, but it's what they make in my hometown (Austin, MN). My family never ate a lot of SPAM, but we did eat it, and I even have a couple of cans in my cupboard right now. I haven't tried to sneak SPAM into anything since the time I put a SPAM meatball into Steve's meatballs at a GCF potluck. And I would never, ever put SPAM in JELL-O!

Gretchen, Carmen, Scott, and Andrew in front of the old SPAM Museum at the Oak Park Mall in Austin. Since it was the day before our wedding, Steve and I were a little too busy to join them, but they said they had fun.
Steve pretending to pack cans of SPAM at the new SPAM Museum in Austin. I packed my cans much faster than Steve packed his, but he accused me of shoddy workmanship.

Not to be outdone by the "CowParade" in New York City (see my cow page), Austin had its own "Pigs in the City." Mike and Stead took quite a liking to "Rodeo Pig."
