In the 20 years since graduating from the University of Utah’s Mechanical Engineering program, Jared has gone on to lead a large cross-functional engineering team in the wireless communications industry, raced some of the most challenging endurance events in the world, and become a force for positive environmental change. Jared will walk us through his professional journey up through his current role as the Director of Hardware Engineering at L3Harris, highlight his most exciting and transformative experiences as an endurance athlete, and share his passion projects aimed at improving air quality through activism, education, and applied engineering. The seminar aims to highlight the common threads between these topics and share practical tips for approaching any significant challenge.
