Mechanical Engineering is pleased to announce Dr. Keunhan (Kay) Park, has joined our tenure-track faculty as an assistant professor. He comes to us from the University of Rhode Island where he was an assistant professor in mechanical, industrial and systems engineering. Before that he was a mechanical engineering lecturer at the Republic of Korea Naval Academy. Prof. Park performed postdoctoral research in Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, 2007-2008. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Major: Heat Transfer, Minor: Optics and Photonics), Georgia Institute of Technology, 2007; his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Major: Thermodynamics), Seoul National University, 1999; and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Seoul National University, 1997.
