The team at Météo France put together a nice video summarizing the BLLAST (Boundary Layer Late Afternoon and Sunset Turbulence) field experiment that was conducted during the summer of 2011 in Lannemezan,
France. It is a nice description of the experiment and some of the Atmospheric Boundary Layer science issues that we addressed. Look for the cameo by UofU EFD lab member “Dan Alexander” sporting a Real Salt Lake T-shirt.
