For outstanding impact in medical device design and nanotribology associate professor Bart Raeymaekers received the University of California, San Diego, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Alumnus Award for Impact at a ceremony held in La Jolla, California, November 19, 2018.
Raeymaekers received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California San Diego, in 2007, and joined the University of Utah Department of Mechanical Engineering in January of 2011. He directs the Utah Tribology and Precision Engineering Laboratory plus is co-founder the Utah Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center (MEP).
