Katie is originally from Lyons, Colorado and completed a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Western Washington University and a graduate degree in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University. She moved to Utah to work in the Mechanical Engineering department in June 2016. She loves hiking, camping, sand volleyball, musicals, trying new restaurants, and her cat Smokey.

Morgan is originally from Reno, Nevada and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in general sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno. Following graduation, Morgan moved to Iowa to complete her graduate degree in Higher Education Student Affairs from Iowa State University. She loves to hike, play volleyball and soccer, travel to new places with her husband, and is excited to explore Salt Lake City.

Benjamin is originally from Aurora, Colorado and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. From there, he attended Colorado State University and earned a degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education. Benjamin enjoys hiking, candle-making, traveling, and his dog Tanok.

  • Admitted first-year students who have paid their enrollment deposit should sign up for orientation, where all your questions will be answered by the advising team.
  • Admitted prospective first-year students who are still deciding where to attend can contact Joy or their future advisor.
  • Admitted transfer students will work with Joy on their admission to the major and any transfer course articulation and will meet their advisor at orientation.
  • All students who haven’t applied to the University of Utah yet should contact Joy with any questions.
